Founded in 2001, the Korean Craft Museum is a public museum located in Cheongju that
specializes in
crafts and serves as a cultural hub in central Korea.
It offers cultural content and an educational platform, providing with
immersive experiences of
crafts through exhibitions, research, classes, and a craft studio.

The Korean Craft Museum’s Craft Studio provides support to artists through its seven specialized
studios:
a ceramics, metalwork, glasswork, leatherwork, textile arts, ottchil, and multipurpose
studio.
Artists-in-residence are selected annually in each medium. These resident artists receive
several forms of
support, including a workspace, subsidies for exhibitions, and promotional opportunities to
encourage
their creative growth.
